Looking at the review, it would be my assumption that the buyer was under the impression that he was going to receive a physical item. It's frustrating, but you will get through it, and your shop/business will be fine. Most sellers get an unfair review at some point.
" Plus isn't it better to keep my name clean than worry about if he fooled me?" I'd explain that since they already downloaded the files you are unable to issue a refund. Why download something if you think it's an actual item, anyways? It's standard to not refund once an item shows they've downloaded it. There's no way for a customer to prove that they completely deleted the files and/or didn't already use them. Correct?ĭigital downloads are not refundable because they can't be returned. I just feel I need to explain my self for that bad unfair review.Īny information and/or advice would be greatly as the others stated you can't post the conversation here, but reading between the lines it sounds like he replied back to you and said he thought it was an actual item, not a download and now wants a refund.
Did he know or didn't he?Ĭan I contact him to find out what is going on or is this against Etsy rules?Ĭan he modify the review after speaking to him?Ĭan I reply to the bad review with instructions on how to get to the files? I don't want to make him feel bad. But then I went back again to take a look at the order and I noticed that the files have been fully downloaded. This and the time he waited to give the review made me think that he probably thought he was purchasing a real t-shirt and that he will be receiving it by mail. The graphic design is placed on a T-Shirt mock up on the item photo. I believe the download is instant when you are not a guess and when you are a guess you have to find the files on your Purchase and Review history. The item is a Digital Download and base on the order if I'm not mistaken, the customer was not a guess.
